Twin Lakes Communities Being Proactive to Curtail Invasive Aquatic Plants

New signage is now at 4 of the 7 boat launch areas on Twin Lakes. Brandtwood Estates, East Cove Woods, Twin Lakes Woods, and Sagamore Estates have taken steps to help create an awareness that cleaning boats and equipment can help stop additional invasive aquatic plants entering into Twin Lakes. No one wants further introductions of Curly leaf pondweed in other parts of Twin Lakes or the introduction of Eurasian Milfoil, or other invasive plants.

This signage to Stop Aquatic Hitchhikers can help educate our Twin Lakes Community on steps to take. THANK YOU. Hopefully the other communities of Twin Lakes Park, Twin Coves, and Twin Lakes Preserve will also join the effort.
